Coimbra University – World Heritage
Dear Friends,
The University of Coimbra was granted UNESCO’s World Heritage status, during the 37th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee (WHC).
This is one of oldest universities in the world, with more than 7 centuries of history (please, see attached information and make afantastic virtual tour at http://visit.uc.pt/).
As a Professor of this prestigious institution, I wish to share with you my extreme happiness with this award which has only been granted to no more than half a dozen universities.
